Dr. Susan F. Sordoni and the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, were honored at The Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine’s annual Black Ties for White Coats Gala as the Community Honorees. The honor was humbly accepted on Saturday, October 21st in the Mohegan Sun Pocono Ballroom where 730 people gathered at the event.
Dr. Sordoni is very passionate about helping the less fortunate and ultimately improving the health of the Wyoming Valley. VIM is a testament of her efforts! Congratulations, Dr. Sordoni and all the volunteers and staff that are dedicated to successfully impacting our community by providing quality compassionate medical, dental and behavioral health services to the working low income uninsured families.
