Last week, seven of the largest Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) clinics participated in a meeting organized by Hilton Head Island’s Dr. Ray Cox and hosted by Community Volunteers in Medicine in West Chester, PA.

The two-day event offered a valuable opportunity for VIM Alliance members to share best practices related to finances, development, volunteer management, collaboration, board responsibilities and clinical quality.  The VIM national office leadership also outlined strategic priorities for the next three years.  Dynamic discussions revealed the ingenuity that is present across the VIM network.

Action items, notes and resources from the meeting will be made available to all VIM Alliance members.
