Volunteers in Medicine America network

The Volunteers in Medicine America network (VIM Network) is a national network of free clinics that provide health care services to the uninsured and medically underserved. This peer-to-peer network links clinic leaders and provides access to information related to all aspects of clinic operations.

Expert consultants work with developing sites or established clinics using the proven VIM Model. Clinics that complete the membership evaluation process and meet VIM’s standards are invited to join the Volunteers in Medicine America network.

Those that are a part of the Volunteers in Medicine America network share best practices, participate in discounted group purchasing programs, and have access to educational material, webinars and a variety of other program offerings. They also have ongoing access to Volunteers in Medicine America office consultants.

There are no membership fees. Those that are a part of the Volunteers in Medicine America network must continue to uphold the VIM Model and meet other expectations of the network.

“We like being a part of the Volunteers in Medicine America network.  Our funders and new donors like it. We are not just this little clinic in Stuart, we are part of something bigger.”
